A Whole New World: The Kitchen
Charmaine and Gavin came through the door with a standard project: they wanted to renovate their home in Noosa Waters to open up the living space and renovate their Laundry, Ensuite and Bathroom.
Once I started playing with the existing layout of the Kitchen and Pantry on Sketchup (my 3D software), I quickly realised this upgrade was going to be challenging! While yes, we were in for a large renovation, some aspects (like the plumbing) was best left alone - to avoid unnecessary extra costs.
Surrounded by constraints (load-bearing walls, existing plumbing, clients’ budget, overall size of existing spaces etc.); we took our time during the design process to explore all possibilities. This gave Charmaine and Gavin the luxury and comfort of knowing they were making educated decisions!
